Two outfits from May

Pari viime postauksesta unohtunutta kuvaa viime kuulta, jotka edustavatkin lähestulkoon ainoita kertoja, kun tuli pukeuduttua kunnon asuihin koti-ja treenivaatteiden sijaan. Huhtikuussa se määrä oli vieläkin vähäisempi.

Ylemmässä kuvassa päällä on viime kesänä hankkimat, sittemmin suosikiksi nousseet valkoiset liituraitaiset kesähousut. Tekee asusta kuin asusta siistin hetkessä. Kyseessä oli äitienpäivän asuvalinta. Alempana taasen synttärijuhliin pukemani asu, musta Mangon ruutumekko on lähivuosina hankittu ja sitä tulee käytettyä kyllä vuoden ympäri, se on mukavan rento mutta silti siisti. Kengät hankin viime syksynä ja olen käyttänyt niitä kuin ne olisivat olleet hankittu jo vuosia sitten. Nahkatakki on All Saintsilta Lontoosta vuonna 2017 ostamani, investointi sinällään ja olen kovasti tykännyt väristä, vaikka aika paljon sitä mietin silloin ostotilanteessa, että pitäisikö mennä ihan perus mustalla tai kokeilla jotain muuta!

Kuvat voisivat olla otettu samaisessa kaupungissa (Porvoossa) mutta totuus on että alempi on otettu Vallilan puu-kaupunginosassa, joka kyllä muistuttaa Porvoota ihan ilmetysti!

Olipa mukava kirjoittaa tällaisen lyhyemmän postauksen kerrankin. Tuntuu paljon helpommalta ja nopeammalta kun asiaa ei tule yhteen kertaan niin paljon!

//Two outfits from last month that I forgot to add to my latest post. These represent almost the only two times that I wore something else than loungewear or workout clothes! In April I think this amount was even lower, might have been just one time.

In the first picture for Mother's Day I was wearing the trousers that later became my favourite trousers last summer: makes any outfit sharp in no-time. The second outfit was from a birthday party, a checked dress from Mango, that I use around the year: it is casual yet stylish. The white shoes I bought last fall and I've been using them so much that it feels I've had them for much longer. The leather jacket is from All Saints in London when I was traveling for work in 2017, I remember being a bit sceptical about the salmon red-ish colour (is it too special or should I pick a black basic one) but I've been happy about my choice.

You would imagine that the pictures are both taken in Porvoo (like the first picture) but the truth is the second one in from Helsinki in tree-Vallilla. The place really is like a copy of the old part of Porvoo at some places.

How different it was btw to write this kind of short entry for once. Usually my posts are so long and there's a lot to say, this was fun for a change since it was so quick!
