HOME - BEFORE

Vihdoin ja viimein aika uusi koti - ennen ja jälkeen kuville! Kyseessä on kolmio, ja tästä puuttuu vielä makuuhuone-ja työhuonekuvat jotka laitan erikseen. Edellisillä vuokralaisilla oli hieman erilainen sisustustyyli kuin meillä, mutta näimme kuitenkin asunnon potentiaalin. Valoisat lattiat ja hyvä pohjaratkaisu oli valinnassa ratkaisevassa roolissa, ja tietenkin loistava sijainti. Tämä tuntui hyvällä tavalla persoonalliseltakin kodilta, mikä ei koskaan ole huono juttu. Se, että meidät valittiin vuokralaisiksi vain neljännessä näytössä tuli melko yllätyksenä, ja päätös piti tehdä samana päivänä. Jotenkin tuntui oikealta ratkaisulta muuttaa tänne, joten päädyttiin ottaa kämppä vastaan ja onneksi näin.

//At last time for the long time ago promised post on before and after pics of our apartment! This is a three bedroom apartment, so I thought I divide bedroom and extra room pics to a separate post. The previous tenants had a slightly different style of interior, but we saw the potential of the apartment and its light surfaces. This felt like a very cozy home and neighborhood; I like not only the apartment but also the surroundings to be nice. To be chosen as the tenant this quick (only went to around four viewings) was a bit bigger surprise, but the decision needed to be made quickly so we chose to take the apartment and glad we did.

HOME - AFTER

Viimeisimpänä asennettiin takan vieressä olevaa pari valaisinta seinään. Edellisessä asunnossani ne olivat erään taulun yläpuolella, täällä ne sointuivat tosi hyvin takan väriin. Paljon lisää tavaroita ei tänne tarvitse hankkia, joulun jälkeen mahdollisesti jokin lattiavalo sohvan taakse.

Asunto on ns. läpikulkukolmio, jossa pariin lisähuoneeseen pääsee kulkemaan kahden eri oven läpi sekä keittiön päästä että sisääntulon luota hallista. Mistä eniten tykkään on se, että neliöt on käytetty hyvin siten että ne on keskitetty avaraan oleskelutilaan eli olohuoneeseen, jossa tulee kuitenkin vietettyä eniten aikaa. Kylpyhuone on pienehkö, joskin sinne on mahdutettu mukava pieni kylpyamme. Makuuhuone on myös pienempi, mutta sen ei mielestäni tarvitsekaan olla suuri, se on omalla kohdallani pukeutumista ja nukkumista varten.

//The latest thing added here are the two lamps beside the fireplace. In my previous apartment they were above a painting, here they blended well in with the colour of the fireplace. There's no need to do any big addings in terms of interiors for now, maybe some bigger floor lamp when the Christmas tree is removed.

The bedroom and the one extra room can be entered through two separate doors, one at the kitchen and one next to the hall. What I like the most is that the living room area is spacious - it is here where you spend most of your time anyway. The bathroom is a bit smaller, but there's a nice little bath tub anyway. The bedroom is also a bit smaller, but this room is for dressing up and sleeping or reading before bed for me.
