Take me back - one year ago...

Tänään on tullut kuluneeksi tasan vuosi siitä, kun otin suunnan kohti Kiinaa ja Shanghain maisemia. Tällä hetkellä tuli juuri istuttua lentokoneessa tai ehkä Pariisin kentällä, ja itseasiassa koko päivä meni reissatessa: aina aamuyöstä seuraavaan yöhön asti englannin aikaa. Tällöin oli tosin seuraava aamu Shanghaissa, joten multa jäi yksi yö välistä aikaeron takia, mutta olin kyllä siinä saapumisvaiheessa niin naatti että oli pakko mennä pitkille nokosille, vaikka aurinko oli noussut ja kello oli noin 9 paikallista aikaa. Eli aika eri fiiliksissä elettiin viime vuonna näihin aikoihin - muistan vieläkin miten jännittynyt olin kaikesta, mutta jotenkin kaikki vain hävisi kun olin siinä Kiinan lennolla - olin hermostunein silloin aamulla Manchesterin lentokentällä ehdottomasti, hui :S :D

Tuntuu jollain tavalla erikoiselta, että siitä on jo vuosi! Voisin tehdä ainakin kerran vuodessa tällaisen kaukomatkan,sopisi mulle enemmän kuin hyvin, mutta tällä hetkellä ei ole kiikarissa itseasiassa yhtään matkoja, paitsi tietty kevätloman pyrähdys Suomessa ja täällä Englannin rajojen sisällä tapahtuvia matkoja. Mulla on kyllä ikuinen matkakuume! Pitäisi kyllä kesällä lähteä johonkin, ehkä loppukesästä. Olisi kiva tehdä ihan perinteisen rantaloman, mua tällä hetkellä kiinnostaisi Marrakesh - luin paikasta raporttia eräästä muotilehdestä ja se Yves Saint Laurent retriitti siellä main houkuttelisi tosi paljon :) toinen on joku paikka etelä-Ranskassa - Ihastuin Pariisin matkalla Ranskaan ja haluan ehdottomasti sinne uudestaan!

//Today, unbelievably, It's been a year since I boarded the flight to....Shanghai, China! It feels in a way weird that it is already a year ago. At this point, I believe I was just boarding the flight to SH at the Paris airport. I was traveling the whole day Saturday, from very early morning until midnight UK time...yes, I was knackered as I arrived to the destination - not to mention it was the next morning there, whereas in England it was just around bedtime! Just had to sleep immediately anyway, despite it was 9 o'clock int the morning in SH. So, a bit different states of feelings last year this time exactly! It was actually a bit weird, but my nervosity just disappeared as I boarded the flight to China - I was most nervous on the Manchester airport in the early morning hours, for definite!

Speaking of traveling - I have a massive travel fever at the moment. I know It's only about 2,5 months since I was in Paris, but I don't count it like that - I could travel all the time, preferably once a month or far away at least once a year! That's why I'm kind of stressing because I don't have any planned trips outside of the UK now for this year, apart from my easter break trip to Finland of course. I would love to go in the end of the summer somewhere, I would die to go to Marrakesh - it is not only a fabulous place, but also home to the famous YSL retreat! So yes, let's see what happens... the reason why I would love a beach break is simply that I haven't been on one soon in a year - last Spring I went to Spain. So, this is my plan in case the summer in Finland this year is disappointing, and overall of course as well:)
