Spring lash-fix at Salon 33

Kuten viime viikolla jo vähän vihjailinkin, suunnitelmissa oli eräs yhteistyö tälle Suomi-visiitille ja kävinkin tällä viikolla Salon 33 kampaamossa tekemässä uutta, päivitettyä esittelyä. (edellinen oli vuodelta 2012 avajaisista, kun he juuri olivat muuttaneet uusiin tiloihin Mannerheiminkatu 9-11 osoitteeseen Porvoon keskustassa). Paljon on tullut uutta edellisestä esittelykerrasta - nyt salongissa on myös mahdollisuus ottaa vaikkapa tatuointi tiloihin muuttaneessa Mystic Art Studiossa.

As I briefly mentioned last week, I had a collaboration project booked in whilst in Finland for this week - went to Salon 33 to do a updated post, since the last one was made back in the summer of 2012, when they moved to the new studio at Mannerheiminkatu 9-11, in downtown Porvoo. And lots have changed since - now you can have a tattoo done at this beautiful salon.

Toisena uutuutena Salon 33:ssa on kampaamon puolella käytettävä Olaplex - hoito. Kyseessä on aivan uusi värinpoisto-innovaatio sekä juuri Suomeen lanseerattu hoitomekanismi. Salon 33 tiimi! Myöhemmin tässä kuussa Sarah (oikealla) sekä Daniela (keskellä) lähtevät kuvausmatkalle Tampereelle fitnessurheilija Marie Silmärin stylistiksi. Tämä PR valokuvaus esittelee uuden Suomeen saapuvan urheiluvaate-merkin nimeltään Warhammer Fight &Gear.

The Salon 33 team! Later this month, Sarah ( right) and Daniela (middle) are attending a photo shoot with figure athlete Marie Silmäri. Salon 33 is doing the styling, and the PR shoot is introducing a new line of sports athlete clothing in Finland (Warhammer Fight & Gear).

ID hair on uusi tuotesarja salongissa. Tässä tuotteet kiharaisille hiuksille, ja valittavana on myös hoitavia tuotteita kehitetty hiustenpidennyksille ja pitkille hiuksille.

ID - hair is a new product line in the salon. Here's a product range for curly hair, but there's plenty of healing choices particularly formulated for hair extensions and long hair.

Mystic Art - tatuointistudio on toiminut Salon 33:n tiloissa helmikuun alusta saakka. Aiemmin toimipiste sijaitsi Helsingistä, jossa Michael on toiminut tatuoijana vuodesta 1997. Mystic Art tattoo Studio on auki tiistaista lauantaihin, ja lävistyksiä pääsee tekemään perjantai-lauantai. Mystic Artin löydät Facebookista tästä.

Mystic Art - tattoo studio moved to Salon 33 in February this year. They previously were based at Vironkatu in Helsinki, where Michael has been working as a tattoo artist since 1997. The studio is open from Tuesday- Saturday. Michael's business partner Liisa is at Salon 33 doing piercings every Friday-Saturday. Check out Mystic Art at Facebook here.

Tässä sitten ripsienlaiton tulosta - kuten viime kerralla (talvella 2013) toivoin tälläkin kertaa  luonnollista tuuhennusta omien ripsien pituuden mukaan - ihastuin todella tähän lopputulokseen! On todella luksusta säästää arvokasta aikaa, kun ei tarvitse sutia ripsiväriä. Kiitos siis Sarah:ille :)

Here's the result from my lash-fix - it always feels so glamourous to have them on! I wanted them to be thicker and natural - looking to go with the same length as my own lashes. I like the result so much, you save a lot of precious time not having to apply mascara! Thank you Sarah :)

Testituotteet vasemmalta : suojaava seerumi, lämpösuojasuihke, käsi - ja hiusvoide sekä POW'R suoraväri (kaikki ID-hair). Valitsin väriksi oranssin, jota ajattelin testata ensi viikolla juhliin laittaen sitä latvoihin. Värejä oli monta erilaista, kuten hopeaa sekä lilaa.

My test products from far left : serum longer, heat protection spray, hair and hand creme nourishment and POW'R direct color. I chose the orange one, I will most likely test it next week to a party by dyeing my ends with the color! From this range there's other colors to choose from as well, such as silver and purple.

Lämpösuojasuihke sekä hius/käsivoide tulee lahjapakkauksessa. Kaikissa ID:n tuotteissa on tosi hyvä tuoksu, tykkäsin siitä kun kädet tuoksuvat hiustuotteelle! Tämä hand/hair cream on muutenkin kiva, kun hiustuotetta voi käyttää myös käsien kosteuttamiseen. ID:n seerumista tulee varmasti suosikki, kun olen luvattu seerumien käyttäjä saadakseni hiuksiin silkkistä viimeistelyä.

The heat protection and hair/hand creme comes in the giftbox. All the products has a great scent, liked the fact that my hands smell's like hair products! Amazing that you can use one product for both hands and hair - is is ideal for dry hair and hands when you want quick nourishment. The ID serum will be a favorite, as I use serum after every hair wash as well as for silky refinement in dry hair.
